A FOUNDATIONAL APPROACH

01. Market Research

The jumping off point for any development starts with an inkling of a need.  This triggeers a micro-economic analysis of the propose market including supply and demand.

02. Project Design

Combining market intelligence with professional talent to create a functional design to meet the needs of the marketplace sets the wheels of development in motion.

03. Project Funding

Funding is the fuel which powers projects from startup to completion.  This function can be facilited by good planning and successfull partners.  Armatrix has established good relations with General Partners who are keen to finance the kinds of projects we endeavor to develop. 

04. Building Permits

Red tape is an accepted part of development. This is where it helpls to have an experienced legal team onboard to help expedite things.  This is particularly helpful whenever zoning issues need to be addressed before construction begins.

05. Site Preparation

Some jurisdictions allow for dirt to be pushed around before all the permnits are in place.  Meanwhile, site surveying may be carried out when the project is compatible with existing zoning.  We like to “lead the duck” anytiing there’s a chance to speed things along.

06. Module Production

Creating housing that has appeal, functionality and provides a source of long term value is challenging in today’s business environment. Projects that can take advantage of the lastest modular manufacturing process hold the greatest promise for this.

07. Module Installation

Once the foundations are in place, modules can be trucked to the site and lifted into place just as quickly as they are ready. 

08. Utilities Hookup

Proper planning is critical to ensure each unit is hooked up as needed and inspected at necessary intervals.   As with many of the other steps detailed, this work can be undertaken simultaneosly with other necessary steps in the construction. 

08. Finishing & Landscaping

Althogh a substantial amount of completion can take place in the factory, there inevitably remain interior and exterior finishing that needs to be completed.  While this is going on the process of completing landscaping, pathways and features to enhance livability and appeal can be completed.  

09. Final Inspection and acceptance

Nothing makes a developer happier than the day keys are handed over to new owners.  Depending on the business structure of the project, such a a rental operator, this can be done at once. Inn a condominium styled development, this can be carried out on a unit by unit basis as each one is completed.
